When the moon ascends to great heights, and the stars sparkle, it signals bedtime for the young animals of the Indian forest. However, tonight, as the skies darken and the night grows stormy, the little ones find it difficult to drift off to sleep. SWISH-SWISH! CRACK-TRACK! FLASH-SNAP! The storm rages on. But there is one creature who can calm their fears, and that is Mama Elephant, with her wise words of reassurance. “You’re safe with me,” she says.
This modern fable, beautifully illustrated, is a beloved bedtime story for toddlers. It teaches them the important lesson of not fearing the storm and reminds them that even in the darkest of times, there is always someone who can provide comfort and safety. The rhythmic text and vibrant images make this book a soothing and enchanting experience for children, helping them drift off to sleep with a sense of peace and security.
